Creating a Poster

This week my year 1 students were creating their own posters on a famous invention. I drew up a template with lines and no headings and gave each student a copy. Students copied Handwritingbot for the subheadings – description, inventor, origin and impact so they could practise handwriting, spell the headings correctly and also make the poster their own. A great way to integrate handwriting instead of creating a separate lesson! Any absent students, I photocopied mine that already had the headings so they weren’t behind.
